Senior Home Companions offers non-medical companion care services for seniors throughout Florida. As a privately held company, our commitment centers on delivering care with integrity, reliability, and genuine compassion. We provide the level of care we would want for our own family members and believe your loved ones merit nothing less.
The story of Senior Home Companions began in Sarasota, Florida in 1992, when Judy Cuppy recognized the need for a superior approach to help older adults preserve their independence and comfort in their own homes. Drawing inspiration from her grandmother's difficult transition to institutional care, she developed an innovative peer-based program connecting active, healthy seniors with those facing health, social, and mobility challenges.
The expansion continued when Judy's sister, Gloria Scott, faced the challenge of finding quality in-home care for her mother during her recovery from illness in Naples. Discovering the same lack of dependable, non-medical care options, Gloria established Senior Home Companions in Naples to offer families trustworthy, outstanding care and genuine peace of mind.
Naples native David Morgan eventually acquired both operations after experiencing firsthand the personalized attention, outstanding staff, and reliable care that enabled his grandparents to age gracefully in their own home. David brings unique qualifications to this mission – holding an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business and a graduate degree in divinity from Dallas Theological Seminary – allowing Senior Home Companions to serve as the perfect intersection of his business expertise and calling to serve others.
