SHC Team Spotlight | Emily Middleworth
As Lead Client Coordinator at Senior Home Companions (SHC) in Naples, Florida, Emily Middlesworth takes immense pride in working alongside our dedicated companion caregivers and the wonderful clients they support. After seven months in this rewarding role, she has learned that effective communication and countless phone calls are central to her daily responsibilities! Emily is deeply committed to helping others and ensuring caregivers are matched with clients in the most suitable arrangements possible. 
One of Emily's favorite aspects of SHC's services is escorting clients on delightful outings, including shopping trips and restaurant visits throughout the Naples area. This perfectly matches her love for outdoor activities in sunny weather, especially during Florida's warm summer season. Living in this beautiful region, she regularly takes her two dogs, Sophie and Wrigley, on hiking excursions through local state parks around Naples and Collier County. Emily also practices yoga regularly, loves diving into a good book, and begins every day with "lots and lots of coffee!"
Emily has called Sarasota home her entire life and cherishes close relationships with her extended family, including her four siblings. Being raised in such a large household definitely helped shape her nurturing personality, which she views as crucial for success in the caregiving field.
The individual who has made the most significant influence on Emily's experience at SHC is Anne, her Client Services Manager (CSM). Emily explained, "Anne brings tremendous knowledge to this role, and she has served as an amazing mentor to me. She's truly one of the most compassionate people I've ever encountered."
